Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how SueMate, operated by SueMate LLC (“we,” “us”), collects, uses, and shares your information when you use suemate.com and related services. We aim to collect the minimum amount of information needed to provide the service and to be transparent about how it’s handled.

Account information.When you sign up, we collect your email address and a hashed password. Authentication is handled by Supabase on our behalf.

Payment information.If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or other payment details on our servers. Stripe may collect and retain information in accordance with their privacy policy.

Content you submit.This includes messages you type into the AI chat, information you enter in the lawsuit guide wizard (state, case type, estimated damages, description), and any violation records you log in the Do Not Call tracker. Some of this information is currently only stored in your browser and is not retained on our servers. This may change as the service evolves; we will update this policy if it does.

Automatic information.We log basic technical information about your requests (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for rate limiting, security, and to diagnose problems. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

We use the information we collect to: (a) provide, maintain, and improve the service; (b) authenticate you and protect your account; (c) process payments and deliver features you have subscribed to; (d) respond to support requests; (e) detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms; and (f) comply with legal obligations.

When you use the AI chat, the text of your message (along with the optional context you provide in the lawsuit guide wizard, such as state and case type) is transmitted to Anthropic, which operates the underlying AI model. Anthropic processes this information under their own terms and privacy policy. Do not share confidential, privileged, or sensitive personal information through the AI chat.

We share information only with the service providers that help us operate SueMate:
• Supabase — authentication and any future data storage
• Stripe — payment processing
• Anthropic — AI chat responses
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SueMate LLC, our users, or others.

We use browser cookies and local storage for essential functions like keeping you signed in and remembering that you have accepted our terms. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated information at any time (see “Your Rights” below). Technical logs are retained only as long as needed for security and diagnostics.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at info@suemate.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe, as required by applicable law.

SueMate is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and relying on trusted service providers (Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, Anthropic) that maintain their own security standards. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the service or by email.
